Scholarship Overview

DAAD-EPOS Masters of Science in International Health Scholarship applications are being accepted from suitably qualified candidates from low and middle income countries. The Master of Science in International Health (MScIH) program focuses on poverty-related health issues in low and middle-income countries and pays for students to study in Germany. The program's goal is to provide students with a solid foundation in international public health principles, as well as the knowledge and competencies required to run and initiate sustainable programs for disease control, health promotion, and health service development across a wide range of populations and countries.

The scholarship is partially or fully funded depending on the duration (1 year / up to 5 years)

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must meet the following:

  • Applicants must have a four-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant Public Health discipline.
  • A year of relevant work experience, including Public Health experience in low- and middle-income settings, is required.
  • Must meet the admission requirements of the higher education institution to which you are applying.
  • Exhibit superior academic and research abilities.

  • Applicants for the DAAD-EPOS Scholarship in International Health should apply for admission to the host institutions, and successful candidates will be considered for the scholarship automatically.
