Scholarship Overview
International students are invited to apply for the International Excellence Entrance Scholarship to study at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) in Canada for the 2023/24 academic year. The scholarship is competitive and is intended for students who have excelled academically.
Every year, UFV International welcomes over 800 new students from over 70 different countries. Every year, UFV encourages academic excellence by awarding numerous entrance scholarships. UFV International awarded over $400,000 in scholarships last year.

Eligibility
Eligible candidates must meet the following:
- Applicants must be enrolled at the University of the Fraser Valley in a degree program (UFV).
- Applicants must have relevant qualifications that will allow them to be admitted to a UFV degree program.
- Applicants must demonstrate commitment and be willing to follow the rules and regulations governing student conduct at UFV.
- Top international applicants who apply to study at UFV in their graduating year or have recently graduated with a minimum overall GPA of 3.5 are eligible for the scholarship.
- Applicants must have strong communication and leadership abilities.
Application instructions
Online applications for the UFV International Excellence Entrance Scholarship in Canada are required. This scholarship is available to outstanding international applicants who apply to UFV in their graduating year or have recently graduated with a minimum overall GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.75.
