Scholarship Value

QuestBridge Scholarships cover the full cost of attendance for the entire duration of an undergraduate program at any of the partner colleges. This includes tuition, room and board, travel expenses, books, and supplies. While the scholarship aims to cover all expenses without the need for parental contribution or student loans, it does anticipate a student contribution in the form of work-study or student savings, ensuring a comprehensive support system for the scholars.

Eligibility

Eligibility for the QuestBridge Scholarships centers around academic achievement, financial need, and citizenship status. Applicants must be high school seniors in the U.S., either U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or students, irrespective of citizenship, attending high school in the U.S. Candidates should display exceptional academic records, primarily A’s in challenging courses, including Honors, AP, or IB levels, and standardized test scores above the 1310 mark for the SAT or PSAT, or an ACT composite score above 28. Additionally, applicants should rank in the top 5-10% of their graduating class and demonstrate strong writing skills, intellectual vitality, and determination through their essays, recommendation letters, and extracurricular achievements.

Application Instructions

To apply for the QuestBridge Scholarships, candidates must complete the National College Match’s online application, which encompasses two essays, short answer questions, two letters of recommendation from core academic subject teachers, a Secondary School Report from their high school counselor, and a high school transcript. Optional but recommended materials include a School Profile. Standardized test scores, such as the SAT or ACT, are highly recommended. The application process involves ranking up to 12 college partners and submitting additional materials if selected as finalists. Finalists who match with a college are awarded a full four-year scholarship. Those not selected or who do not match can apply to additional schools through QuestBridge Regular Decision without application fees, ensuring multiple pathways to achieving their college aspirations.
