The University of Glasgow is proud to announce the African Partners Awards, designed to support outstanding students from Africa who aspire to become future world changers by undertaking Masters level study at the University. This initiative aligns with the University's commitment to fostering global connections and empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute positively to their communities and the world at large. For the academic session of 2024, the University is offering up to 15 scholarships across any discipline, providing a platform for African students to excel in their respective fields.

Eligibility

  • Candidates must demonstrate academic excellence, equivalent to a UK 1st Class Honors.
  • Applicants must have international fee status and be domiciled in Africa.
  • A clear career and/or development plan supported by Masters level study must be demonstrated.
  • Evidence of meeting the UKVI maintenance/living costs by 30th June 2024 is required if offered the scholarship following a successful interview.
  • Preference will be given to students, alumni, or staff from one of the University's African partners.
