Scholarship Overview:
The UdeM Exemption Scholarship for International Students is a new program introduced by the Université de Montréal to provide exemption from additional tuition fees for international students. The goal of this program is to attract the best talent from around the world and enrich the cultural diversity of the Université de Montréal community.

The scholarship values for different levels of study are as follows:
- Bachelor's degree: $24,607.80 per year (or equivalent per session/credit)
- Master's degree: $27,992.70 per year (or equivalent per session/credit)
- PhD: $25,125.93 per year (or equivalent per session/credit)

Eligibility:
To be eligible for the UdeM Exemption Scholarship for International Students, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Hold a study permit and be neither permanent residents nor Canadian citizens.
2. Enroll full-time in a study program throughout their studies.
3. Not be eligible for another form of tuition fee exemption through another policy or measure, excluding French and Belgian Francophone students who already benefit from such exemption.

Application Instructions:
To apply for the UdeM Exemption Scholarship for International Students, follow these steps:
1. Apply for admission to Université de Montréal by respecting the application deadlines and checking the admissions requirements for the study programs of interest.
2. After submitting the admissions application, monitor the application status and receive the offer of acceptance letter through the "Student Centre."
3. The evaluation for the scholarship will be done automatically for new candidates. No separate application is required.
4. Upon receiving the offer of admission, the Université de Montréal will notify the applicant of the scholarship amount via email. Keep this document for future reference.
