Eligibility

To be eligible for the UAL Scholarships, candidates must meet several criteria: they must hold an offer to study a full-time taught master's course at UAL for the academic year 2024/25, be ordinarily resident in a qualifying low-income economy country or be an asylum seeker in the UK, and have a household income of £50,000 or less. Applicants are required to provide a personal statement addressing how the scholarship would impact them, their future plans, how they would address challenges in their home country, and how they uphold values of social justice and environmental stewardship.

Application Instructions

Applicants must first secure an offer for a qualifying master's course at UAL. Following this, they should complete the scholarship application through the 'my funding' page on their UAL Applicant portal, which will be updated to display relevant application forms. The scholarship application requires a detailed personal statement answering specific questions. Deadlines vary depending on the course start date, with 5 July 2024 for courses starting in September/October 2023 and 2 November 2023 for courses starting in January 2024.
